Kansas Vision Plan for Individuals

Is Your Eyesight at Risk?

Why You Are at Risk
The percentage of people losing their sight is increasing. Why? People don’t know that a simple exam or refraction to get their prescription is only part of a comprehensive exam that can detect diseases that rob sight. The best vision benefit focuses on more than just glasses or contacts. It starts with real eye health care that includes an annual comprehensive eye exam.

Big Difference, You Bet!
There is a reason why some retail optical locations give their eye exam away or why some vision plans are offered for very little or no cost at all, and yet medical professionals charge as much as $120. Our private practice eye doctors offer the highest level of testing and will spend whatever time is needed to thoroughly evaluate a patient’s eye health and meet their needs.

Worth the Time, How Precious is Your Eyesight?
Eyes are extremely sensitive. Problems in other parts of the body can be detected early through the eyes. Diabetes, high blood pressure, tumors, liver and kidney problems and imbalances in the blood are all types of diseases that can be detected through the eyes. In fact, 16 different diseases can be detected, often before there are any symptoms. Private practice eye doctors have the skills and equipment to detect these diseases in addition to eye diseases. This level of care is now available through a vision plan from Vision Care Direct.
